Syn looked back at the centaur, who was quite obviously flustered. "want to come along?" She asked, with a small smile. She really didn't need to be so uptight. Or maybe she did. Syn did admit he had bullied someone after all.
Syn knew that she was..... at the very least power-hungry. She did feel bad about it, and tried to stop it, but she just couldn't. It was a horrible habit of hers. She really didn't feel comfortable gaining friends in a small fear or using them too, but if its for a little while, perhaps she could enjoy the centaurs company. Even if its for a little bit.
"Do you want to go with just us two, or find someone else to go with us too?"

"Well, I'm a little new to everything, but... what is it the Americans say? 'the more the merrier', right? How 'bout that guy from earlier, eh?" she chuckled, trotting up to her new buddy. "What's the maximum players for a dungeon?"

"six. And I doubt he would WANT to join us, but let us try." Syn said, and pulled open her inventory, equipping her sheathed katars and daggers beneath her cloak. "Lets go find this man. Probably somewhere with alot of people, since he seemed new." Syn desperately tried to keep her arms covered. Her weapons were level one, but katars.... tended to attract alot of attention. They were attached to hand which move alot, and were big and shiny. Big and shiny attract attention.

There it was. A typical extravagant fountain in the center, benches to rest your virtual body, the hubbub of both Real player voices and NPCs. Slowing down, Satosen observed the crowds. Beginners were running from player to player, asking for gold or trade requests, the High-leveled showed off how tough their armor or how overpowered their Greatsword was, and the NPCs repeated the same text when Players reached a certain radius to them. It was here that Satoru found the flaw in this plan. There was so much talking, both from the players and the NPCs, that it would drive him mad listening to all of them. An empty bench! Satosen set his Sprite on the seat, looking for anyone, or anything, that could help him. "C'mon, cmon...." He took a deep breath, and listened carefully to one group at a time. "Dungeon for LV40s, Need Cleric!" "What's with all these Necromancers, don't they know that..." "Trade Request PLS. I need 10 Real-money Coins!"
This wasn't working. What was he doing wrong? His eye caught something tall, it was that Centaur! But she probably wouldn't know. A foreign sprite got in his line of sight, and the Centaur was gone. Wait, that Sprite... what's with him? The Sprite that got in his way seemed agitated, annoyed and impatient. He appeared low-leveled, like Satosen, but he looked like he was late for something, or someone else was. Satosen stood from the bench, and took slow steps towards the Sprite, hoping not to grab the stranger's attention "THERE YOU ARE! FINALLY F***ing-LY" the male Sprite shouted. Satosen froze, thinking he was caught. No, another Sprite came into view. This one seemed stronger, but not overpowered. But there was something... different. "Quit your bitchin. You wanna be one of us or not?" the second stranger asked in a low, gruff voice. "F*** yeah I do, you said you'd help me be a Berse-" "SHUTTHEHELLUP. God you're freaking loud. C'mon, I'll take you to the hideout" That was enough. If these two were acquaintances, then they lead him to where he needed to go. The two began moving in a speed-walk pace, Satosen would need to keep close if he didn't want to lose them.

Mal popped in the mass of people and buildings that was the city. He staggered for a moment, and moved around a little, getting a feel for the virtual reality. He was tall here, definitely a novel experience for him. It would take some getting used to, though, and he shifted his weight as he sorted through his equipment. He tucked his dagger into an inner fold of his clothing and drew his cloak tightly around himself.
He turned his attention outward. In the great sea of people, the PCs stood out like pieces of beef in okroshka. He walked aimlessly for a few paces and found himself standing in front of two PCs: a centaur and a short humanoid. He regarded them silently as they parlayed.
(Mal used Glare!)

Somebody was staring at her. This was a virtual game, but her sixth sense still worked. She look sideways, seeing an older gamer glaring at her. 'Creep' was the first thing that came to her mind. She wasn't used to twenty year olds looking at her in the real world, and it gave her the creeps in VSE's too, even though in on-screen online games she'd speak with a guy twenty years older then her without realizing it and feel perfectly fine, even after knowing their real age (at least while they weren't awkwardly asking for her phone number or anything creepy like that, in which case they'd probably still be pretending to be younger, and to which she'd poof as soon as she got the chance, and never speak to that person ever again). Perhaps she just wasn't used to VSE's enough, after all, this is the first one she'd actually BOUGHT.
Pasiphae attempted to shy away and walk onward, but Syn had noticed the guy as well, and didn't seem too prejudiced against him. As Pasiphae watched uneasily, her newly found friend spoke to the man.

Syn looked up at the stranger, or made attempts to, but her hood got in the way. Finally finding some sort of comfortable way of looking up, she stared at him. He seemed to be glaring at her, for some reason unknown, who also happened to be....... unreasonably tall. "Yes?" She asked, her ears twitching backwards in slight annoyance. He was too tall for her liking. Way too tall.
She had some bad experiences with extremely tall people, who seemed to find her head a good armrest. It was quite annoying, especially when they rub it in her face. She really didn't like them.

[Six feet isn't unreasonably tall. It's just that Alek is particularly short in reality and is enjoying being taller.]
Mal notices the movement under the shorter stranger's hood and decides she must have cat ears. "You are going to a dungeon? Have you a mage?" he says, his diction stiff due to his discomfort.

[theyre pretty tall to me =n= meh. 'sides, exaggeration is fun. And she has problems with people taller then her. Sooo yeah. I guess. Im making no sense, ignore me.]
"Mhm. And no. Feel like joining us?" Syn asked at the newcomer, looking up at him until her hood feel down over her eyes. "dammit." She mumbled, pushing her hood back, only to have it fall on her face again. She sighed, giving up, and looked straight at him instead. Well at his shoulders or so. Her ears and tail twitched, causing her cloak to catch the wind, revealing one of her arms and weapon. Syn quickly grabbed the cloak and pulled it around herself, mumbling something about artificial winds and angles.

"I do," Mal replies, pretending not to have seen the weapon. "I feel I should inform you that I am a newcomer to this game, however."

"That basically describes the general population." She pointed out, seeing how the game was just released recently, and would be under the category of newcomer. "Well, I have no objection to you joining us, seeing how a mage is a handy class to have on a team. "What do you think?" Syn asked, turning to her new partner. The centaur looked nervous, perhaps she was bad with men? Who knows.

She wanted to say 'no' in a cold tone and walk away, but that would have been rather rude, and would mean to abandon the odd kitty-girl, who, she realized in the brief moment that her weapon was visible, and through her evident comfortability in the the game, must have been a beta tester. "yeah, sure" she said, trying to keep her cool and act as though she didn't mind, a habit and skill which she's adapted through the years of keeping cool. "We gonna give up on the other guy then? I'm kind of excited about getting into one of those dungeons." she raised her returning boomerang in a bit of an emphasis.

Mal nods in greeting. "My name is Malignitudal Day. Although you can call me Mal if you like." He moves closer to the two. "What kind of dungeon are we getting into, anyway?"

"Synethys, or Syn." She introduced herself, finding slightly awkward to call herself "Syn" which sounded remarkably similar to "Sin". It wasn't on purpose, but she found herself stuck with it. "As for the dungeon, I was thinking of the plains one nearby, or the cave mines. Cave mines may be a bit hard though, seeing that we're all basically pretty new and or stats, I'm assuming, are low." She said, opening up the menu and opened up the Party tab by mumbled voice commands. She quickly set up the party, and sent both of them invites. "It's really up to the two of you where we go though, I don't particularly care."

"I do not mind hard," Mal says, accepting the invite.
